What is Browsy?
Browsy is a free browser and app downloader for ONN boxes, Android TV, and Android phones, anywhere the Google Play Store runs. Think of it as the tool that gets other apps onto your device, the same job Downloader has done for years, but faster and with one big difference: safety is built in. Every app Browsy fetches is screened before it installs, and you can run a deeper scan across more than 20 antivirus engines with one tap. More on that below.
You get it free from the Google Play Store, and it works the same across every device that has it. (Fire Stick support is on the way. For now, Fire Stick owners can install these same apps through LinkDrop instead.)
What are Browsy codes, and how do they work?
A Browsy code is a short number that stands in for an app's download link. Somebody has to type or store that link somewhere, so Browsy stores it against a number for you. When you type the number, Browsy looks up the link, checks the app is safe, and installs it.
It is the same idea as the old Downloader codes, with two upgrades: the codes are shorter and easier to remember, and nothing installs until it has passed a safety check. Codes 1, 2 and 3 are the essentials that set your device up. Everything after that is the app catalogue, sorted into the sections below.
How to install Browsy
Getting Browsy itself takes under a minute.
- On an ONN box, Android TV, or phone, open the Google Play Store, search Browsy, and select Install.
- Already have Browsy on one device? Open it, type code 3, and it hands you the latest Browsy to put on your next device.
- On a Fire Stick, Browsy is not available yet. Use LinkDrop for now to install the same apps, and check back, Fire Stick support is coming.
Open Browsy once it is installed and you will land on a simple screen with a box for a code and a Go button. That box is where everything happens.
How to use a Browsy code
Once Browsy is open, installing any app on this page is the same four steps.
- Open Browsy and select the code box.
- Type the number for the app you want.
- Press Go. Browsy finds the app and runs its safety check.

Are Browsy codes safe?
This is where Browsy earns its place over every other downloader, and it is the reason we recommend it. Two layers of protection sit between a code and your device:
- An automatic scan on every download. The moment Browsy fetches an app, it screens it before the install button ever appears. You do not have to remember to do anything.

Troubleshooting Browsy codes
Most issues clear up fast.
- "Code not found": double-check the number, and make sure Browsy is up to date (use code 3 to grab the latest). Codes are updated monthly, so a very old code may have moved.
- "App not installed": your device needs permission to install from outside its store. Turn on Install unknown apps (or Unknown sources) for Browsy, then run the code again.
- App installs but will not play: some apps hand playback to a separate media player. Check the app's row above for a "Needs" note, install that player by its own code, and try again.
