Best Fire Stick and Android TV Apps: November 2026 List

November is here, and we are starting the month with seven of my favourite streaming apps. There are big updates, a brand new app, plenty of live TV and sports, and a couple of old favourites that are still holding strong. I installed and opened every one of these on a Fire Stick at the start of the month, so this is where things actually stand.

1. FlixVision 4.0.0r, the big update

FlixVision just dropped a big update, and it is packed. You get direct movie links, a huge selection of TV shows, and more than 10,000 live TV channels, sorted into 199 categories by country. Version 4.0.0r also adds cloud sync for your watch history and favourites, a QR code pairing portal for signing in on a TV, and SIMKL and MDBList tracking.

Two things to know. It now opens straight from its own icon, so you no longer need the Virtualizer to launch it. And on first launch it asks to share a small part of your internet bandwidth to keep the app free. I switch that off: Settings, scroll to System, and set Share Bandwidth Toggle to OFF.

2. Reezn is back and still going strong

Reezn had a rough October and stopped loading for everyone for a while. It is back. Version 2.0.20 is working again, with tons of movies, a huge TV show selection and live TV, and it remains one of our favourites.

If your copy stopped opening in October, update it to 2.0.20 from LinkDrop. The older versions are the ones that broke.

3. Velora TV, new this month

If you love FlixVision, you are going to want to check out Velora TV. It is a new all in one app with movies, TV shows, live TV and sports, and it opens straight into the app with no sign up. In my test the live TV section loaded 4,459 channels. It also has a separate Kids profile, which is a nice touch if the whole family uses the TV.

4. CHQ just keeps getting better

CHQ (Cinema HQ) continues to impress with regular updates. LinkDrop has version 8.8, and the app was already offering 8.9 when I opened it, with fixes for subtitles that would not load and a login error some VPN users were seeing.

Quick tip: on a Fire Stick, the in app update only works if you have allowed CinemaHQ itself to install apps. If you would rather not change that, just grab the newest version from LinkDrop when it lands there.

5. FlixQuest, newer app with big content

FlixQuest is fairly new, but it is already packing a lot in: tons of movies, plenty of TV shows, and live TV. The live section showed 879 channels when I checked, with a sports schedule alongside the channel list. You still do not need an account. Choose Continue as guest on the first screen.

6. AK47 Sports, for live TV and sports fans

If you are all about live TV and sports, AK47 deserves a spot on your list. The Live Events tab lists what is on right now and what is coming up, sorted by sport: football, cricket, boxing, motorsport, basketball, American football, rugby, hockey and more. Pick a game and it usually gives you several links to choose from.

One heads up: when I opened it the first time, and again when I picked a link, it sent me to a betting website first. Press Back to get out of it. Do not sign up for anything.

7. StreamFlix, one of my personal favourites

I had to save one of my favourites for last. StreamFlix continues to be one of my go to apps for movies and TV shows, with reliable links and a great TV show selection. For English movies, pick the TMDB Community Server from the English dropdown.
